Key Features and Requirements:
- Functionality: Updates an existing subscription's expiration timestamp using the Subscription ID.
- Flexibility: Supports setting a new expiration date—either earlier or later than the current one—provided the date is in the future.
- Requirements: To perform the update, you must provide the Property ID, Visitor ID (RealmUID), Subscription ID, and the new expiration date (accepted in any format).
- Limitations: This action cannot be used to update subscriptions that have already expired.
Example Use Cases:
- Retention Offers: Automatically extending a subscriber's access by a set number of days when a retention offer is accepted.
- Support & Billing Adjustments: Granting complimentary access following a support issue or correcting promotional subscriptions to align with specific billing periods.
- System Synchronization: Aligning internal subscription data with external management systems.
