How To: Turn Off Ad Blocking on a Website in 'Browsing Protection by F-Secure' Extension

Note: The steps below will help troubleshoot seeing the ad block message on a website when the Visitor uses the 'Browsing Protection by F-Secure' Extension in their Web Browser. However, please be advised that if the Visitor has other settings impacting the delivery of ads by either the Web Browser, Device, or Network, the ad block message may still remain displayed after doing the following steps. We are here to help work through this.

Self-Help Option #1: Video

Self-Help Option #2: Step-by-Step Text With Screenshots

Step 1: You are on a site where you see a pop-up message asking you to disable ads on a website.

Step 2: Click the puzzle piece icon at the end of the URL bar to expand the short list of active extensions open. Now click the words "Browsing Protection by F-Secure" to open the Extension settings / options page.

Step 3: By default, "Ad blocker is on for this website" will be toggled on (blue with the circle to the right) and must be toggled off (gray with a circle to the left).

Step 4: Confirm upon doing this that the ad block message disappears.
