How To: Troubleshoot Mozilla Firefox (iOS / iPad)

Step-By-Step Detailed Instructions for Configuring Firefox on iOS

1. Open Firefox App

  • Launch the Firefox app on your iOS device (iPhone or iPad).

2. Access the Menu

  • Tap the three horizontal lines (also known as the hamburger menu) located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

3. Go to Settings

  • In the menu that pops up, scroll down and tap on Settings.

4. Access Privacy Settings

  • Scroll down and tap on Tracking Protection.

5. Configure Tracking Protection

  • Ensure that "Enhanced Tracking Protection" is turned off (gray with white circle to the left side of toggle – BLUE = ON and will always cause the adblock message to be displayed ) and that "Protection Level" is set to "Standard" (having "Strict" selected will always cause the adblock message to be displayed).
