How To: Troubleshoot Microsoft Edge (Phone)
Please follow the instructions below to check the settings in your Edge web browser on your phone to address the ad block message being displayed on a Publisher's website.
STEP-BY-STEP DETAILED TEXT INSTRUCTIONS
Please do the following to troubleshoot EDGE (Phone)...
- First, please do one of the following...
- Click the three stacked lines"
" icon in the bottom right corner of the page (and then click '⚙️ Settings' on the end of the first row. to open a list of Settings options.
- Now, locate and then click "Privacy and Security". (this has a lock icon at the beginning of it)
- Next, in the "Security" section, click "Tracking prevention" to go open a deeper menu option.

- http://wikipedia.org/Next, click "Exceptions" and then "Add a Site". Now type in each of the following... (example = wikipedia.org)
- NOTE: doing this lets you identify the site as a trusted online publisher that you WANT to support

- Next, please return to the original website that you saw the engagement message on, then refresh the page multiple times. Do you still set it?
- No? Awesome!
- Yes? Clear your web browser's cache & restart the device.
- Go back to the page website and check again, do you still see the engagment message?

- Yes? OK, it might not just the web browser. Let's check your web extensions next by having you do the following...

" icon in the bottom right corner of the page again, but then click the "<PuzzleIcon> Extensions" in the bottom row, 3rd from left slot to open a list of all installed Extensions, installed & operating will be colored, grayed out may be togged off or have further steps that need to happen before they can be used properly. Please send a screenshot of this full list,as well as the menu that you see when you open each colored icon.
