Create a Journey and an Engage

Create a Journey

1. Go to the Journeys tab, where all visitor Journeys are created.

2. Click Create for me, then choose the type of Journey, such as Adblock Recovery or Recurring Paid Subscriptions. If the Journey needs an Offer that doesn't exist yet, create it on the Offers page first, then select it here.

3. Choose when your offers should appear: always, or within a date range (useful for a promotion).

4. Choose a performance level. Standard is a good starting point. Then click Create.

5. To change who sees the Journey, open the Journey's menu and select Edit targeting. You can target by criteria such as adblock status, URL path, subscription status, device, browser, or referrer. Click Save.

6. To change how often a message appears, click Edit on its card and set the limit and frequency, by pageviews or by time.

Edit an Engage

1. Click your Journey.

2. Click the kebab menu on the Engage you want to change, then click Edit.

3. On the Layout tab, choose the message type: Banner (appears at the bottom of the page), Soft (visitors can close it and continue), Gated (no continue path; used to gate content), or Nudge (appears in a corner of the page).

4. Adjust colors, text, and styles to match your site, then save.
