How do I update the payment method for a subscription?

To update the payment method associated with an individual subscription, please do the following:

  • Login to your Admiral account at https://my.getadmiral.com/login with either your email and a password or your Facebook or Google account. Please note that this will have to be the same as what it was originally set up with.
    • If you get an error message here, please open a chat with support by clicking the blue circle chat bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page.
  • Scroll down to the "Subscriptions" section and locate the individual subscription for the Publisher here.
At the far right-hand side, click the three (3) stacked dots icon () and then click "Edit Payment Information"

  • A slide-out window titled “Update Payment Method for (Publisher Name)” will appear on the right side of your device's screen. Below this will be a list of payment methods already added to your account. You can also add a new method by clicking "ADD PAYMENT METHOD." Do either and then click "Save."
    • Please note: if you add a new payment and set it as the default payment, you will still need to update any existing subscriptions as described in this guide.
  • Once you have done this, please verify that in the details for the subscription, in the Payment Methods section, you should see the icon of the type of card listed with the last 4 digits of the card. Please confirm that this is the correct billing method that you would like associated with this subscription.

Final Check: The test to make sure everything is set up correctly is to click "Remove" to the far right of the old payment method and see if you are able to remove this payment from your account. If you get an error message, it is because this method is still linked to a subscription. The system will not let you remove a card until it has been unlinked from active and ongoing subscriptions.
